7 Situations Where You Are Allowed To Lie To Bae
We are always told, to be honest in our relationships.
But in a relationship, there are times when lying is necessary. The truth hurts and sometimes lying may be required to save your relationship from going down a negative spiral.
Lying to your partner may not be something that you want to do, but it really can be the best way to avoid drama, and keep the harmony in your relationship. Sparing your partner some insecurity is a good investment for your relationship.
But these lies should be small lies, not serious lies like if you cheated. White lies are small, harmless lies, which people tell in order to avoid creating problems that don’t need to happen.
So here are lies you are allowed to tell.
1. When you don’t like bae’s best friend.
Especially if they met that friend before you, If you tell bae that you don’t like their loyal friends, it could upset him or her, and possibly even make your partner feel that he or she is not compatible with you.

2. When you don’t like what they are wearing.
Sometimes bae may decide to wear something that you think is either inappropriate or just plain ugly. But don’t tell them they look like crap when the two of you are out or are just about to leave. This is especially sensitive to women. If you tell her that you think he or she looks bad, then he or she will most likely be worried about how he or she looks all day or all night. When she asks if she looks good, say a big “yes.” You are only allowed to tell her your true thoughts at a later time when the two of you are settled.
3. When you don’t like bae’s family.
Not liking your bae’s family can be an even bigger concern than not liking their friends. Families can be upsetting and frustrating but just pretend you like them.
4. When you don’t like the meal bae cooked for you.
Understand that bae has put a lot of effort into cooking. You should probably tell them you like it, even if you hate it. Yes, you can just tell them you really liked it, but then maybe suggest something different for next time.

5. When you don’t like bae’s new hairstyle.
Sometimes bae can show up with a hairstyle that is super weird. However, you can’t just say, “I don’t like your new hairstyle, please go and do another one.” Women especially spend hours in the salon. So telling her that all that was for nothing will brew a fight. You know what you can do better? Point out a random person who has a cool hairstyle and tell your bae how much you like it – preferably a celebrity. They will get the message and try to do something similar next time.

6. When the sex was bad.
Not every bedroom romp is going to be mind-blowing, but there’s no need to let bae know. Maybe they didn’t last very long or you weren’t as turned on as usual, but it’s best to keep it to yourself. Let them know that you enjoyed yourself and then share some ideas on how to make it better next time.That being said, if you are constantly unsatisfied with the sex, then say it.
7. When you communicate or meet with your ex.
You woke up to a 6 a.m. to an “I miss us” text from your ex, and aren’t sure what to do with it. Here’s my advice: delete it and forget it. Or maybe you had a long chat or you met up for lunch. If you’re over your ex and your bae has absolutely nothing to worry about (and I mean nothing), then sharing that information with them is just asking for trouble. Telling your bae that you texted with or met your ex is a blunder. They’ll freak out and start being insecure.
